x114.....added to the church by being he church

46* And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47* Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Acts 2:46-47)

After the day of Pentecost--after they had assembled themselves together to receive the Holy Spirit outpouring, this early church had an amazing result--a result which we don not even come close to--" And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. " People were being added to the church daily.

God added to the church daily, by all the people being the church daily

These people were meeting in their homes--their individual "houses of God" every day--they had meetings going on 7 days a week--perhaps 24 hours a day. (God works 7 & 24--and so does the devil---why doesn't the church?)

They were not interested in building a temple. These verses don't say what we might like them to say.....

"And they elected a pastor to have authority over them--and they met Sunday mornings at 10 am and Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.--and occasionally someone wandered into the church and got saved"

These early Christians, the ones that "made the Bible" were totally interested in serving God--and they did it every day together. They met in their homes--each of which had a different anointing--In which people who had the anointing to teach would do so--in which people who had the anointing to be pastors--to release others to ministry--did so---they moved strongly in the prophetic gifts and the gifts of the Spirit---and those who were anointed to be apostles and evangelists met together, "broke bread together" discussed and prayed and asked the Lord how they might bring more people into the church--every day.

Notice that they gave God the credit--"The Lord' added to the church. This is the result of true ministry--when all the body words together in their anointings--God functions perfectly--there is perfect authority over the devil--and people get saved all the time. And God gets all he glory--not individuals--but God.
