X0621..........Ministers always impress us.

Ministers always impress us.

Ministers always impress us--some times with their zealousness, with their strength.

They impress us with the way they shout, or with their vast knowledge.

Ministers impress us with their honesty, or their geniuness--that down-to-earth quality.

They impress us with the way they relate to our needs.

they impress us with how loud they talk, theri fearlessness, theri boldness.

Ministers impress us with the appearance of great study, and an ability to put word together in ways that most of us could never attain to.

Ministers impress us with the way they dress, whether witha long robe or a collar, or a 3-piece suit and a gold watch.

Ministers impress us by doing things that most of us dislike--such as speaking to large groups.

Ministers impress us with their authority.

Ministers impress us and so give us the impression that "minstry" is impressing other people--being powerful over other people--having authority over others.

42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (mark 10:42-45)
